Ex-MB Sahruddin replaces Muhyiddin as Johor Bersatu chairman

Previous menteri besar Sahruddin Jamal is presently Johor Bersatu director, party president Muhyiddin Yassin affirmed today.

Muhyiddin said Sahruddin, who was Johor Bersatu’s secretary, accepted his letter of arrangement as executive on June 8.

Sahruddin, 47, who is the Bukit Kepong assemblyman, replaces Muhyiddin who has held the post since September 2020.

“He has dominated. It’s a decent move. The state contact panel currently has a nearby character,” said Muhyiddin. “I will help him with counsel and perspectives however it’s great to put trust in more youthful pioneers to lead the party.”

Muhyiddin said the arrangement likewise demonstrated that the administration perceives the party’s restoration interaction.
